Goal

Complete the courses and exams requirements for Delaware Real Estate Salesperson

Delaware Real Estate Agent Requirements

  1. 18 years of age or older
  2. A high school diploma or equivalent
  3. Complete courses (State and National)
    • 99 hours of sweta approved prelicensing instruction (approx cost $500-900) or
    • If you already have an active license in another state you must complete a 33 hour Reciprocal Salesperson course ( ~ $165-285) for example at CE Shop Its ofther goes on sale for under $200 and submit a waiver 
  4. Take the Delaware State exam
  5. Take the National exam or provide a waiver
  6. Affiliate with a Delaware broker of record.
  7. If you hold or have held license in other states you must Obtain Certificate of Licensure History to be sent directly to the Commission office from each state where you have held any type of real estate license.
  8. Fill out your license application form
  9. Have your broker complete the STATEMENT OF BROKER OF RECORD
